Yarrow the Sprite
Yarrow is a 270-year-old sprite. Like others of his species, he possesses healing and protective powers, which he uses to protect the forest in which he resides.
Sprites are thought to be solitary creatures, and leave their parents to find a new territory as soon as they reach adulthood. When Yarrow started on his journey to independence, he found an abandoned cottage in a forest unoccupied by other sprites and decided to claim it. He found himself journeying to the nearby town of Wynwood and became fascinated by human life. The humans were wary of his presence but would not dare to attack him as they didn't know what he was capable of. Rumour had it that he was some kind of vampire, on account of his sharp canines.
On one trip to the market, he bought an unsuspecting bag of holding from an unsuspecting merchant. That same night, as Yarrow slept, a domestic imp named Jesper would emerge from the bag and start exploring his surroundings. Alarmed as he was, he didn't send Jesper away.
With Jesper looking for some new sense of purpose, and Yarrow being rather lonely on his own for the last seventy or so years, it seemed like fate.
