Kat's family
Randomly thinking about Kat... I really dunno about her parents lol but like I think if I start unpacking stuff it might become more clear. I get the sense that her grandparents/extended family are probably a little or a lot homophobic but not her parents. Ok or well, one side of the family maybe is and the other side isn't. I thought probably both parents were supportive when she came out but what if no? The Vibes are telling me maybe single parent situation but I'm also not sure. One is supportive, gets a divorce about it when the other one isn't.... Why am I leaning towards dad being the one who remains... Like single dad situation? Just Kat and her Dad? You know this reminds me of my colleague who, her dad keeps showing up to events that we have to work at lol. Being a good dad type energy. Oh my god the DAD coming to Kat's every gig. Gonna scream. She's embarrassed about it cuz she's trying to be a cool slightly punky lesbian and dad's cramping her style but she gets so old and then is over it cuz like wow imagine having a supportive parent... Lol no stop why's that so cute. Ok. Obviously Stan's mum also shows up to all the gigs so I guess they'd be at least good acquaintances huh. If this were Popular Media you can bet they'd end up as a couple but we're not doing that. Not feeling Kat and Stan being step siblings lmao. But tbf Kat and Stan have been friends since they were kids and probably Ciara knows Kat's dad since before he and her mum would've split up. She would've known the mum too. Mum probably moves back to Greece idk what the hell. Who cares I guess. I care. But I don't know right now. It's bananas to me to think of abandoning a child cuz they came out as gay but like obviously it happens all the damn time to this day I'm sure. So probably she goes back to Greece where the rest of her family live. I mean, this is me assuming both parents are Greek but I don't actually know that. Idk why they moved to the UK. I guess for a job for one of them. Which means, if they moved For A Job, it's a Good Job that Pays Well, a career job, which. Somehow I always imagined Kat being sliiiiightly a bit middle class. To be honest. Can imagine Stan going to her house as a kid to hang out and he's like woah... this is a nice house... Nothing crazy but ya know. Nice modern kitchen and furniture that is quite ordinary looking but Good Quality.
