making a page for stan
i knew i would hit this point before long lmao. i know my ocs really well in like an, amorphous way, but other than howard and andy i have a hard time pinning them down. i write a lot of little snippets of things but putting it all in one place makes me realise how many gaps there are lol. to be honest i think it'll just mean they have a much shorter "backstory" section which nobody is gonna complain about lol. some understanding i came to a while back is that stan mainly uses he/him pronouns, but likes she/her too. cuz it's just swag you know. i don't know if he really has a specific label for his gender? but he has no qualms presenting feminine and, being in a band that loves to make silly theatrical music videos, and themes for their albums, i think he plays around with gender presentation a lot. in his day to day i know he dresses like, not in a masculine way, but very low-effort, but fun, like... lots of all-black, hoodies and t-shirts and joggers/sweatpants but all with funky colourful graphics on them. i feel like he has a bit of a collection of different colour shoes, baseball caps, beanies. has a few bracelets he wears all the time, some for stimming purposes. got the long hair that, he used to dye lots of colours, split-dye, lots of fun stuff going on, but probably immediately after audrey is born that kinda goes on the backburner and he never really goes back to dying his hair, or at least not fully. which does mean he gets to show off his beautiful red hair!!! which he has always and will always keep long, btw. i don't wanna think about him balding. maybe he'll have to rock the bill bailey look one day 😔 ... anyway can see him having a colourful streak in it somewhere, maybe. or maybe not. lots of piercings, considerable amount of tattoos. it's all about accessorising. i feel he's quite decorative in a sense. i think the band, across their different albums and concepts and stuff, has different characters they like to play... i feel like many times he'd have a female character and kat would have a male character, leaning into how she gets perceived as a butch lesbian lol. she's very much a girl though. stan has a looser sense of gender i think. and rees would be something, nonbinary, a mythical creature even. im sure the three of them play around with a lot of ideas anyway.
