posh boy accent
Random thoughts about Andy moving up north from being from a vaguely Greater London village type place, e.g. Amersham since that's my only frame of reference lmao... I was just thinking how like. Honestly so many people have like posher accents than me who work around here, and I hardly notice until they mention where they're from ... I was just thinking back to being at school though where people seemed acutely aware of my accent even though I've only ever lived in one place, for some reason I got called posh. I'm just wondering how often people point out this type of thing. I feel like in the types of places he's worked, it sticks out a little more cuz mainly more local people would work there. Whereas in other jobs people tend to come from all over. More career-minded type workplaces, where people would study to be qualified for the job and would travel much further and move to a new town to pursue. So anyway, I dunno lol.
